1.Our standards

ShowUp is only for people aged 16 and over. Everyone confirms their age when they create an account. We delete the accounts of younger children when we find them.

Content that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a minor is not allowed. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sextortion, and attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes.

ShowUp has no image or video uploads and no private messages, which limits how the app can be misused.

2.How to report

In the app: tap the three dots on any profile, ask, win or circle, choose Report, then Child safety concern.

By email: felix@cenix.se, with “Child safety” in the subject.

If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. In Sweden, call 112.

In Sweden you can also report to the police (Polisen: polisen.se, or call 114 14) and to ECPAT Sweden’s hotline (ecpat.se/hotline), where you can stay anonymous.

3.What we do

Child safety reports come first. Our moderator, Felix Cenusa, acts on them within 24 hours.

We remove the content, ban the accounts involved for good and keep the evidence the law requires.

We report CSAM to the Swedish Police (Polisen) and to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we work with the police.

4.Compliance

We follow the child safety laws of the places where ShowUp is available.
